We would like to officially welcome our grand prize winner, Angela Ploegman, onto the 2009 Design Team - read more about Angela below!
I started scrapbooking in 1999 when I moved to Iowa and was looking for ways to meet people and socialize. I started by scrapping my travels abroad and haven't looked back. Now I love to scrap the everyday things in addition to my children, my nieces and my travels!
I've been married to my wonderful husband for nearly 9 years. We have two little ones - my son is 5 and my daughter is 1. No pets, despite constant begging from my 5-year-old.
My favorite hobbies are taking pictures and traveling to new places...our family's last trip was to India!
I like to use products that add texture and dimension to my layouts and projects. Lately the majority of my projects make use of brads--either as a way of attaching things or as decorative elements. My favorite Reminisce product line right now has to be Frosted - the wonderful icy blues and glitter on nearly everything inspires great creations!
My main inspirations are color and style. I flip through a lot of magazines and ads for color and design ideas. Mall walking and all the window displays can also inspire me!
