Happy Tuesday! Easter is just around the corner and I'm looking forward to my share of chocolate eggs and jelly beans! And I'd love to find my treats in these cute little Easter baskets:)
The pink basket is made from a sheet of 8.5 square cardstock. You score it all the way around a 2.5 inches. Score two of the lines to the middle score line and do the same on the opposite side. then fold up the sides and adhere! I made the scallop pieces out of Easter Strip. And then I added the page topper strip from Spring Tulips to the top edge of the basket. The tag was made from Easter Egg Hunt and the sticker came from the Happy Easter Combo Sticker Sheet. Its attached to the basket with a little bit of ric rac and it's ready for treats!!
The card was SO quick and easy to make and so pretty! It's a standard A5 card made from white cardstock and to it was added a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Spring Daisies. Then I trimmed the "Sunshine is the Best Medicine" from the Happy Easter 12 x 12 Poster Sticker Sheet that I trimmed to 3 1/2 to 4 3/4. Before I added it to the card, I matted it in white cardstock, with just a small border. I then adhered this to the card with pop dots. To finish the card, I added just a bit of Icicle Stickles to the daisies on the bottom of the sticker. And it's ready for a lucky recipient.
Isn't the chick adorable!! The basket part of the chick was cut from a die with a piece of Spring Flowers as well as the wings and the little bit of fluff on top of it's head:) His cute little feet and the handle for the basket were cut from Easter Stripe. The rest of him was made with cardstock. I just think he is SO cute. I see a lot more chicks in my future:)
I hope you have enjoyed the fun Easter creations we've shared with you today!!
