As many of you know....I AM A FLOWER FREAK!! Most everything I create, has flowers, even my guy layouts. So when I was asked to create a tutorial...there was NO question what I would do...A FLOWER TUTORIAL!!!
I decided to focus on the flower I created for my Reminisce DT submission.
SO...are you ready??
Now, if you read yesterdays post, you will know I can't live without my Distress Inks!! You will get to see how I used them along with my Distress Tool...and Reminisce paper.
I used the back side of the Rainy paper from the UnWritten Collection and punched
5 circles, mine are 1 1/2"...
I then inked the edges of the circles with two different Distress Ink colors, Chipped Sapphire and Victorian Velvet.
I then used my Distress tool to tear up the edges....you will need to do this gently so you don't rip your circles.
Now to form the petals. I folded the bottom of the circles (the blue part) and stapled it together.
Assemble your flower by stapling the petals to each other.
Now punch a smaller circle, ink it, add some Distress Stickle, some foam adhesive and there you have it...your own, one of a kind flower....now that wasn't hard at all.
I would love to see your version of this flower. Upload your pictures to the Reminisce Ning site.
Come back tomorrow for a quick and easy meal....it's very Yummy!!
great tutorial! i've been wondering how you did some of those B-u-T-ful flowers!
